Privacy

This site counts page views so I know which work people spend time with. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t follow you between visits, and doesn’t try to identify you.

Controller: Choki Lindberg, Denmark. chokilindberg@gmail.com

Page views and the time spent on each page. Browser type, screen size, and an approximate country derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored. That’s the whole list.

No cookies. No local storage. No fingerprinting. No session replays. Nothing is written to your device.

Analytics are processed by PostHog, acting as a data processor, on servers in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com). IP addresses are hashed server-side and never stored. No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA.

To understand which projects visitors engage with, so I can keep improving how the work is presented. No advertising, no reselling, no profiling.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests. The interest is understanding which artworks attract attention in order to improve the portfolio. This is not overridden by your rights, because events are not linked to any persistent identifier and cannot be used to identify individual visitors.

Individual pageview events are stored for twelve months, then deleted. Because events are not linked to a persistent identifier, there is no profile to retain.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict how it is processed, and receive it in a portable format where that applies. Write to the email above and I will respond within one month.

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place on this site.

Because I process this data on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time. If you object, I will stop processing your data for analytics unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests — which, for a portfolio site, I cannot. Email me and it stops.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority:
